OUR TRAINING PROGRAM
Certification & Credential Pathway (Virginia)
Millennium Training provides the educational components leading to a Certificate of Completion aligned with Virginia’s didactic training requirements for CSAC (240 hours) and CSAC-A (120 hours).
Completion of our program helps prepare students to apply for certification and sit for the required examination through the Virginia Board of Counseling (Virginia Department of Health Professions). Millennium Training does not issue state certification, certification approval and credential issuance are completed by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Credentialing decisions are made by the Virginia Board of Counseling.
Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) – 240 Hour Program
Comprehensive training covering all required content areas for substance abuse counselor certification.

Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC-A) – 120 Hour Program
An entry-level certification pathway designed for individuals beginning their counseling career.

ACCREDITATION
NAADAC Accreditation
Millennium Training is a NAADAC Approved Education Provider (AEP), authorized to deliver distance learning education that meets nationally recognized standards for addiction counseling education.
As a NAADAC-approved provider, our programs align with educational standards developed for the counseling profession in addiction and substance use disorders.
Continuing Education (CE) credits earned through Millennium Training are accepted toward national credentialing through the National Certification Commission for Addiction Professionals (NCC AP) and are recognized by many state licensing and certification boards, subject to individual board requirements.
Credential acceptance and licensing decisions are determined by the appropriate certifying or licensing authority.
